.qmdファイルに文章とコードを混ぜて書くとよい。そうして書いたファイルは，ファイル上で直接実行できるし，実行結果（図も含む）と文章を混ぜたままHTML, PDFなど様々な形式のファイルとして生成することができる。日本語を用いた文書をPDFにするには，*.ymlファイルに適切な設定をしなければならない。
